He formed his own party, Pamoja African Alliance which later joined the United Democratic Alliance, FORD–Kenya, the Amani National Congress and other small parties to form the Kenya Kwanza alliance, which was elected into government in the 2022 Kenyan general election.
Hon. Maitha is currently a director at the Kenya Ports Authority (KPA). Prior to this he has served at a leadership capacity on several boards across the country, These include, Kenya Bureau of Standards and Betting Control and Licensing Board.
Hon. Maitha also served as the Member of Parliament for Malindi Constituency between the years of 2002-2007. He is currently the Secretary General of Pamoja African Alliance having recently taken over from Mr. Benedict Furaha.
Sureya Roble is currently a Director at National Oil Corporation of Kenya.
Sureya has served as Executive director at AWAPSA, Director at Coast Water Board ,Director National Oil ,Chairperson ICGLR (International Conference on Great Lakes Region) , National Vice Chair Maendeleo ya Wanawake.
Sureya has been on the forefront in different leadership roles advocating on public policies in Kenya devolution, governance, agriculture; gender and human rights; health; education; entrepreneurship; food security; social security, environment; land and natural resources; culture and arts; youth; women; the marginalised and persons living with disabilities; community mobilisation and empowerment amongst a host of others.
She is currently the National Treasurer of Pamoja African Alliance.
